Privacy Policy

FM MECA SARL takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what we collect on tunisia3dprint.com, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

It is written in accordance with Tunisian law no. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data.

1. Who is responsible

  • Data controller: FM MECA SARL, limited liability company (SARL) under Tunisian law
  • Registered office: Cité Ezzayatine, Ksibet Sousse, 4041 Sousse, Tunisia
  • Tax ID: 1814198PAM000
  • Contact for anything to do with your data: contact@tunisia3dprint.com
  • Phone: +216 56 401 310

2. Why we collect data

We collect data for specific purposes, and only these:

  1. Creating and running your account — identifying you, keeping sign-in secure, verifying your email address.
  2. Handling your orders — making the part, delivering it, taking payment, following up and dealing with after-sales.
  3. Producing a quote — analysing the 3D file you send us and calculating a price.
  4. Running creator accounts — processing applications, publishing public profiles, tracking submitted products and paying royalties.
  5. Letting people communicate — messaging between creators and the team, notifications on the site and by email.
  6. Protecting the site — limiting abusive form submissions and detecting spam.
  7. Meeting our legal obligations — accounting, invoicing and tax.

We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to any third party for commercial purposes.

3. What we collect

3.1 Account and profile

First and last name, display name, email address, password (stored encrypted and never readable by us), a profile picture if you add one, and whether your email address has been verified.

3.2 Order and delivery

Billing and delivery address, town, postcode, country, phone number, the contents of the order, amounts, status history and internal follow-up notes.

3.3 Payment

The transaction reference returned by our payment provider, the payment method used, and confirmation that payment was taken.

We never receive, see or store your card number. It is entered directly on our provider's secure platform.

3.4 Files you send us

The 3D files (STL, OBJ) you upload to the quote tool, and the characteristics calculated from them — volume, dimensions, material and the options you choose. For a help request made while not signed in, a phone number so we can call you back.

3.5 Creator accounts

The application and public-profile information a creator enters themselves: background, skills, software, languages, location, portfolio links, cover images, together with submitted products and their progress.

3.6 Creators' bank details

To pay royalties we keep the account holder's name, the bank name and the RIB. These are used for royalty payments only and are visible solely to the creator concerned and to the administrator.

3.7 Messages and notifications

The content of conversations exchanged through the internal messaging system, and the notifications sent to you.

3.8 Technical and security data

IP address and browser type on sensitive actions: limiting how often forms can be submitted and the spam-attempt log. The country inferred from your IP address is used once, on your first visit, to choose the display language.

3.9 Where your visit came from

We record the site, search engine or campaign link that brought you to tunisia3dprint.com, along with the page you entered on and how many visits you have made. If you place an order, that information is attached to it.

It is used only to measure our own channels: it is set by our site, never by an advertising network, and cannot follow you elsewhere. The cookies involved are listed in the cookie policy.

3.10 Proof that you accepted our terms

When you accept our terms, we keep a record of it. This covers four moments: creating an account through our form, creating an account through social sign-in, placing an order, and a creator accepting the designer agreement.

We record the date and time, your IP address, your browser type, the language the document was shown to you in, and the version number and the digital fingerprint of the exact text that was in front of you.

This record exists only to establish what you accepted and when. The fingerprint protects you as much as us: it guarantees that editing a document later cannot retroactively change what you agreed to.

3.11 Audience measurement

Since 31 August 2026 we measure traffic to the site with Google Analytics 4. What is recorded is the pages viewed, how long the visit lasted and where it came from, approximate country and device, and the key steps along the way: uploading a file, being shown a price, adding to the basket, ordering, sending the contact form, and clicking a phone number or a WhatsApp link.

These measurements are aggregated: they exist to show us what works on the site, not to identify a person. We do not send your name, your email address or the content of your files. An order's number and amount are sent, because without them the measurement could not say which pages actually lead to a sale.

The measurement is carried out on our behalf by Google Ireland Limited. The cookies involved are listed in the cookie policy, and you can delete them from your browser at any time without breaking anything.

3.12 Price simulations

When you drop a file into our calculator, we record the measured properties of the part — volume, dimensions, triangle count, and the material, quality and quantity you chose — together with the price that was shown. These figures let us check that our calculator is fair and improve it.

Files are stored one folder per month. After two months each monthly batch is deleted once we have reviewed it, so a file may be held a little longer than two months if that review is late. If it is attached to a quotation or an order, it follows that order's retention period instead. It is never published, never sold, never passed to a third party, and can be opened only by our team.

The properties and the price are kept with no time limit so we can improve the calculator, but they are detached from the file as soon as the file is deleted. Write to us at any time and we will delete your file and your simulations.

3.13 Files you attach to an order (logo, photo)

For products that allow it, you may attach a file when you order — a logo for us to print, or a photograph for a lithophane. We store it only to make your product; it is never published, sold or passed to a third party, and it is not accessible over the web.

If we ask for a photo and you place your order without attaching one, we contact you afterwards to get it before we print.

We keep the file for as long as needed to complete your order, then our team removes it. Write to us at any time and we delete it sooner.

4. Who receives it

Your data is available only to the people who need it, and to a small number of technical providers:

An order cannot be deleted along with the account: the law requires us to keep accounting records. In that case the order is kept on its own, detached from the deleted account.

6. Your rights

Under law no. 2004-63 you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to object to its processing, and to have it deleted.

To exercise any of these, write to contact@tunisia3dprint.com. We reply as soon as we can. We may need to verify your identity before acting, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.

You can also delete your own account from your account settings page.

The competent authority for personal data in Tunisia is the Instance Nationale de Protection des Données Personnelles (INPDP), with which you may lodge a complaint.

7. Security

The site runs entirely over HTTPS. Passwords are stored encrypted. Access to order and creator data is limited to staff accounts holding the corresponding rights. Card data never passes through our servers.

No system is perfectly secure. If an incident affects your data, we will tell you.

8. Cookies

The site uses cookies necessary for it to work, plus a language-preference cookie. The detail is in our cookie policy.

9. Children

The site is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
